The Red Wing Shoe Company has launched a multi million dollar US advertising campaign that represents a major push for the manufacturer of hand-crafted boots and shoes.

The Red Wing Shoe Company has launched a multi million dollar US advertising campaign that represents a major push for the manufacturer of hand-crafted boots and shoes.

Created by Minneapolis-based agency, Initio, the campaign features nine television spots featuring people in their every day lives carrying the tag line: “Stand Strong”.

Kim Wiemer, director of adverting at Red Shoe, said: “The message is that Red Wings help get the job done – day after day, year after year – under the harshest working conditions. We simply want more people to know about our reputations for making, premium hand crafted footwear manufactured in the US.”

Red Wing Shoe Company, which includes the Ring Wing, Vasque, Irish Setter and Worx brands, operates more than 4,200 retail outlets across the US
